This monument records the battle of Ciung Wanara troops led by I Gusti Ngurah Rai against Dutch troops in Banjar Kelici, Marga Dauh Puri, Marga District, Tabanan Regency. In this location, I Gusti Ngurah Rai died in battle with 94 of his troops. This monument is a tribute to the services of heroes in the Puputan Margarana war.
