Those monkeys are fed regularly, so that they often come and move their habitats around the valley. That’s why this valley was named Wenara Valley or Monkey Valley. Taking a picture with a monkey can be an interesting opportunity. Local officials will summon monkeys with a special sound. When the monkeys come, you can take their pictures, but don’t get too close.

Located in Timuhun Village, Banjarangkan District, Klungkung Regency, Wenara Valley is open daily from 08:00 WITA to 18:00 WITA. The distance from Denpasar to this location is about 41 km. If you depart from Kuta, the travel time is around 1 hour 30 minutes by vehicle. Wenara Valley is also equipped with a parking area. The distance from the parking lot to the location is not too far away. You only need to walk a few minutes to get there. You can also find small food stalls that sell a variety of snacks and clean toilets if needed.
