One of the stunning beaches that you can visit around Nusa Penida is Crystal Bay. Originally named Pantai Penida, but because it has clear water like crystals, many visitors call it Crystal Bay. This beach is situated on west of Nusa Penida, precisely in Penida Bay, Banjar Penida, Sakti Village, Nusa Penida Sub-district, Klungkung Regency. Besides having crystal clear water, the Crystal Bay underwater ecosystem is still well preserved. It is a must for snorkelers and divers with the impressive coral reefs and tons of sea creatures to spot. Even swimming at the edge of the beach just makes you relax and forget reality. Renting a boat for fishing in the middle of the sea is also a fun thing to do. Lots of sea fish that you can catch, grill and enjoy it on the shoreline. Crystal Bay can only be reached by motorbike or rental car and no public facilities that can reach this place. You can go through several routes to reach Crystal Bay. If departing from Denpasar, take a speed boat from Sanur Beach or Pesinggahan Pier if you want to cross from Klungkung and book your final destination to Nusa Penida Harbor. In addition, you can also take a ferry, the price is relatively cheaper but it will take quite a long time, the name is the Roro Ship and you can find it at the Port of Padang Bai. After arriving at the port of Nusa Penida, you can rent a vehicle to get to Banjar Penida with a travel time of 30 minutes.
