Discovering Nusa Lembongan, A Piece Of Heaven On The Edge Of Bali Island.

Discovering paradise in Bali has never been easy. Nusa Penida island, Nusa Lembongan island, and Nusa Ceningan island located in Bali just like pieces of heaven that have fallen to earth. You may hear Nusa Penida more often than the other two islands because there are lots of photos on social media describing the famous Klingking Beach or Angel's Billabong located on Nusa Penida. However, take your time to visit Nusa Lembongan. It is located adjacent to Nusa Ceningan. Located about 2 km southeast of Nusa Penida, this island is equally interesting to explore. Although it is relatively a small island that only covers an area of 4.6 km, Nusa Lembongan is included in Klungkung Regency, Bali.

Nusa Lembongan offers you many things to do. Observing the activities of locals collecting seaweed, exploring the rows of the charming white sand beaches such as Broken Beach, Dream Beach, Devil's Tear, Mushroom Bay and Jungut Batu Beach in which the beautiful color of the sea blue gradation is very eye-soothing, doing sea activities that available such as swimming, snorkeling, and diving, or just relaxing on the beach and so on. Moreover, if you already have diving license, it can be an alternative activity to enjoy the spectacular underwater life in Nusa Lembongan.

To get around this island, you may rent a motorbike or car since there is no public transportation that can reach all tourist areas here. The location of Nusa Lembongan is separated from the mainland island of Bali. Therefore, you have to cross using a ferry boat or speed boat to get here from Benoa Harbor or Sanur Beach. Usually, many tourists cross the island from Sanur Beach with the boat's departure schedule only a few times a day, specifically at 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, and 17:30 at local time. If you choose using a speed boat, it takes about 35 minutes, while around 90 minutes crossing by ferry boat. Nusa Lembongan provides the visitors with many bungalows and hotels at affordable prices. There are also restaurants and cafes that will serve you a great view and surely a great food.

For foreign tourists who want to visit Nusa Lembongan, it is better to do a money exchange before crossing to this island because there is no Money Changer here.
