In Buleleng, there are many waterfall attractions that you can visit. One of them is Aling-Aling Waterfall.

Aling-aling Waterfall

Aling-aling Waterfall is a beautiful waterfall located in Sambangan Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency. If you drive from Ngurah Rai Airport to Aling-aling Waterfall, it will take around three hours. However, if you drive from downtown Buleleng, it will take around 20 minutes. It's not difficult to find this waterfall. Because there are many directions that will facilitate your trip to the waterfall. Once you arrive at the Sambangan Village Hall, you will see many directions that will guide you. Follow the guide and you will arrive within two km of the village hall.

Prepare your energy to walk about 5 kilometers to the location of the waterfall. The tracks to this location are not easy. You have to walk down the stretch of hills and rice fields first. But, the green of the rice fields and hills can make your eyes fresh. This scene will accompany half of your trip. When the rice fields and hills begin to disappear, it means you arrive on the next trekking path. Hundreds of steps are ready to take you to Aling-aling Waterfall. The stairs are a little steep and slippery. It is recommended to hold on to the iron handle when going down the stairs. Also, be careful and maintain concentration. 

Aling-aling Waterfall is divided into two, and is located side by side. The right side has a larger water discharge than the left waterfall. But both of them still give deep sensation of freshness and coolness. Aling-aling Waterfall has a height of 35 meters. Because of its height, you can see the beauty of a thick water mist. Thick fog is created due to the impact of waterfalls with rocks below. If you are lucky, you will see a rainbow tinge produced by the reflection of the sun. This view looks exotic and beautiful. Your comfort will be more perfect when the eyes can enjoy the vegetation of a typical tropical highland fertile plant. Try swimming and feel the fresh waterfall immediately. Cold water will relax your muscles after walking away. After tired of playing water, rest in the surrounding gazebos. There are many small food stalls in the waterfall area. So, you don't have to worry about your empty stomach. 

Spending time at the waterfall is certainly fun. But remember, save your energy for the return trip. Because you have to go through the same tiring path as before. It is recommended to leave the location of the waterfall before dark, because there are no street lights available.
