Do you ever imagine to come to Bali to study music? Well, your imagination come true! Some times ago, a special tourist village was opened. They invited tourists to take a vacation while learning about music. To be sure, your vacation this time would be more meaningful and fun.

Desa Dusun Musical Village 

This is the first musical village in Bali. Although it was only established on August 17, 2018, this village is already quite popular among local and foreign tourists. Desa Dusun Musical Village is located on Jln Noja Ayung No 6, Denpasar Regency, Bali. It's easy to find because it is located in the middle of the city and about seven minutes northeast of the Kertalangu Tourism Village.

In this village, there are about 15 spots that exhibit a variety of musical instruments that come from within and outside the country. There are at least 50 types of musical instruments that will grab your attention. Uniquely, the musical instruments are not only for display. You can directly explore these tools and learn to play it! Of course, there will be a guide to accompany you and provide some information about the area. The guide will also help you play some musical instruments if you're interested in trying it. 

All of these spots can be explored in two to three hours. Besides musical instruments, you can also stop by a small theater park, puppet stage, art workshop, and Warung Ki Hujan to enjoy snacks. After tired of going around, you can go to the rest area while enjoying the calm atmosphere accompanied by the sound of the flute. Every day, the visit will be divided into three sessions starting at 11:00 WITA, 13:00 WITA, and 15:00 WITA. 

In Desa Dusun Musical Village, you’ll learn a variety of musical instruments from various regions. Bear in mind, each province in Indonesia has its own traditional musical instruments. For that reason, by visiting this village, you can see directly the form of musical instruments that you may not have seen before. Also, your insight into traditional music instruments will increase.
