Are you tired of meeting a lot of people on your vacation? Well then, let’s go to Jagasatru Waterfall, Bali, and you’ll feel like it’s your own paradise! This 40-meter tall waterfall is one most people have never hear of. So, it’s rarely being visited by tourists. It’s located in Pateh, Duda Timur village, Karangasem regency, or about 60 kilometers from Denpasar. If you’d like to go to this place, you should ask the locals for directions. Or else, you might be lost.

The most interesting this in Jagasatru waterfall is the falls surrounded by trees and rocks, also flanked by two cliffs. When you reach the place, you’ll get the beautiful panorama, also the cold and fresh air. The sounds of splashing water falling from the height, the calm and quiet atmosphere, will become your own entertainment. You can sit on the rocks to enjoy the views, or you can swim if you don’t mind freezing a bit. It’s calm and fresh surrounding will make Jagasatru a perfect place for meditation.

As mentioned earlier, it’s very unfortunate that there aren’t many visitors at Jagasatru Waterfall due to many factors. For example, this attraction isn’t well-managed nor maximized by the local authorities. The access road to get to this location hasn’t been fixed, thus it’s relatively difficult to reach. Therefore, not many people know about the existence and the beauty of this waterfall. However, most people think that the waterfall is considered to have a spiritual aura. So, perhaps this area is more suitable if it’s developed into a spiritual tourist attraction.

If you’re interested in visiting this waterfall, you have to go to Pateh village first. From there, you’re going to walk through the streets of a fairly narrow and steep hill for about 1 km. During your walk, please remember to always be careful, then you won’t slip or fell to the ground. Well anyway, the obstacles along the way will be paid off when you get there. You’ll be welcomed by the crystal clear water flow.
