Jembong Waterfall, Another Hidden Beauty In North Bali
Jembong Waterfall, Another Hidden Beauty In North Bali.
Every corner of the island of Bali has charming beauty. So, exploring the hidden tourism spots will surely be fun! Located in Ambengan Village, Sukasada District, Buleleng Regency, Jembong Waterfall is originated from natural sources of clear water that flow downward and are dammed in a pond. Such a fun place to play water!
The waterfall also has facilities to support the comfort of tourists, which are coordinated by the Local Community Tourism Awareness Group. Such as bathroom, a place to change, a gazebo, and local residents’ stalls.
Located 6 kilometers from Singaraja, the village of Ambengan as far as 200 meters will be the only access from the parking lot to the location of the waterfall. The road is made of rough cement so it is not slippery during the rainy season. Along your journey, you’ll be accompanied by the green plants and waterways that flow from Jembong Waterfall on your left and right side. If you are lucky, you will see a fruitful brown tree with a bushy fruit, and coconut trees that are soaring up to the sky. There is no other atmosphere besides calm and comfort.
There is no entrance fee for visitors. But, you must fill out the guest book and will be asked for a donation. Inside the place, you’ll see two levels of the waterfall and a swimming pool below. Colorful flower gardens surround the pond. Because it is at a height, you can see the rural landscape in Bali right from the edge of the pond. Some light green leafy fern trees will also add color composition. Beautiful, isn’t it?
Before going, don’t forget to prepare a change of clothes if you plan to take a shower. Also, wear comfortable footwear, and don’t bring too many valuables. Last but not least, keep your environment clean wherever you are. Have a nice holiday!
