Munduk Waterfall 

Munduk is one of the beautiful waterfalls in Buleleng. Although it’s not as famous as Gitgit or Sekumpul Waterfall, Munduk also has a very beautiful panorama like the others. Munduk Waterfall is located in Munduk Village, Banjar District, Buleleng Regency. It takes around one hour drive from Singaraja.

The location is easy to find. After arriving in the village of Munduk, there will be road directions that lead you to the waterfall. At the parking lot, you have to walk for about 20-30 minutes, depends on your physical strength. This Waterfall is at an altitude of 800-900 masl. So, you need to go through dozens of stairs, also slippery and winding paths. But during your walk to the location, the expanse of clove plantations, coffee and rambutan trees will accompany you. The green leaves and the beauty of the surrounding nature can complete the fresh atmosphere. For you, trekking lovers, this trip will certainly be very enjoyable. Along the walk, the amazing view will be there as far as your eyes can see. 

The height of Munduk Waterfall reaches 15 meters with a very heavy flow of water. This waterfall is flanked by high cliffs, overgrown with thick green plants. As if from a distance, water flowing came from lush foliage. Under the waterfall, a large pool of water is formed. With a sloping land contour, it’s a perfect pool to swim. 

According to the local residents, the water flowing from Munduk Waterfall contains minerals such as sulfur. So it is believed, the water can cure various skin diseases, and even effective for skin rejuvenation. Since it has many benefits, many tourists stay in this place for a long time, like from dawn till dusk.
