What comes into your mind when you hear the word Smoke Beach? A beach full of smoke? Nah! It’s the name of a new beach in Nusa Penida, Bali. It’s called “smoke” because you’ll see the unique smoke-like waves on the beach. It’s recently visited by many tourista not only because of its name, but also the amazing scenery.

Also known as Pasih Andus by the local residents, Smoke Beach is precisely located in Banjar Sumpang, Bunga Mekar Village, Nusa Penida Sub-District, Klungkung Regency, Bali. It has a great waves slamming the cliffs and rising up like smoke. The words “Pasih Andus” itself means “water spray beach”. It becomes the main attraction for tourists, where the bursts of water can reach a height of 10 meters. Also from this beach, you will clearly see a fantastic view of Nusa Ceningan island that’s located in the east side of Smoke Beach. 

Aside from the great view and the unique waves, you can also find rare marine biota, such as stingrays and fishes. This could be the other reason you need to bring a camera to capture every moment of you and your friends or family. Like some other beach in this area, it’s quite difficult to reach the beach. You need to go through the rocky streets without any adequate facilities. So, you have to be cautious and come when your stamina is full. 

If you bring a car, you must pay IDR 10,000 per car for the admission fee. Trust us, this beach is very suitable for you who like adventure, for backpacker, and as well as family vacation.
