2018 Ubud Art Festival
2018 Ubud Art Festival.
If you are planning to visit Ubud in October or at the end of the year, it may be the perfect month for you since some art festival in Ubud Regency will be held around that time. The first festival that will be held is Bali Vegan Festival. This festival will be taken place in Ubud, from 5th to 7th October 2018. This festival is aimed to give each participant the tools to fuel a global revolution through talks, hands-on workshops, cooking demos, and community discussions. The ultimate goal of the festival is for everyone to leave with the resources and community support to live out their cruelty-free lifestyle and spread peace by example. Spreading the message is a two-way street, and Bali Vegan Festival will greatly benefit from each participant's support and input, as the whole is greater the sum of its parts. The vegan village will be free access for all, with food stalls, community yoga, and concerts.
Besides Ubud Art Festival in the early of October, there is also Ubud Writers and Readers Festival. This festival will be held on 24th - 28th October 2018. This festival has been considered as one of the world's most celebrated literary and artistic events which is an annual pilgrimage for lovers of literature and conversation. This 2018 Writers and Readers Festival's theme will be Jagadhita: The world We Create. Bringing together some of the world's most powerful voices in a melting pot of artists, authors, thinkers and performers, the Festival is a platform for meaningful exchange and cross-cultural dialogue. A place where artists and audiences alike can discuss shared inspirations, ideas and concerns. Within the five days, the Ubud Writers & Readers Festival delivers an eclectic program of events - from fiery conversations to intimate literary lunches, gripping live performances to hands-on workshops.
Jump a little further from this year, the planning for the next art festival will be held on 24th March - 31st March 2019. The next festival is the BaliSpirit Festival. BaliSpirit Festival invites all yoga enthusiasts, dancers, musicians and spirituality seekers from all corners of the globe, joining together to inspire one another and nourish each individuals potential within. The six-day, seven-night festival offers a concentrated schedule of events, workshops, concerts, seminars and children's activities.
