6 Tips To Soak In A Natural Hot Spring In Bali.

Soaking in a pool of hot water can make your body relaxed. Because hot water is proven to facilitate blood circulation in the body. For those of you who plan to soak in a hot sprin while in Bali, there are some things you should pay attention to.

1. Soak for about 20 to 30 minutes

Yup, it's best to soak for only about 20 to 30 minutes. Soaking too long will remove the natural oils on your skin. So that it can cause your skin to become dry, which could lead to other problems for your skin health.

2. Don't mix water with soap that contains excessive foam

Water in natural hot spring baths generally contains natural chemical elements that can bring benefits to the body, if it’s used within normal time limits. If the compounds contained in this water are mixed with artificial chemical elements contained in the soap foam, it can reduce the elements in the water. Therefore, you shouldn’t use soap with excess foam when soaking. It's even better if you don't use soap at all. Use soap when rinsing your body after bathing in a hot tub.

3. Use an eco-friendly sunscreen when bathing

Most of the pool of warm water is in an outdoor area. Even though the surrounding environment is cool, the sun will still burn your skin. So, you need sunscreen with high SPF content to protect your skin.

4. Do not carry valuables

This is for security reasons. There are several hot springs in Bali that don’t provide luggage storage facilities. Also, don’t also carry a lot of luggage because you will be complicated by yourself thinking about where to store your items. This can make you feel insecure. Remember, the purpose of bathing is to make your mind relax.

5. Do not use thick clothes

Hot baths are good for your skin and body. If you want good content of water to absorb on your skin, you should wear thin clothing or swimwear. This way, your skin can absorb minerals and sulfur from the water properly.

6. Bring your own toiletries

Not all baths in Bali are equipped with toiletries. You’d better bring your own towel and daily toiletries.

Those are some tips that you can apply if you want to soak in a hot spring. You can come anytime to take a bath. But, afternoon to evening becomes the right time to soak. No need to worry about the heat, because the hot spring in Bali is usually located in some districts with cold weather.
