You surely know that Bali has a row of fancy restaurants that serve classy, appetizing food. Apparently, in addition to expensive restaurants, roadside stalls in Bali also sell tasty food. 1. Corn Processed Foods 

Corn is one of the biggest crops in Bali. So it's no wonder that corn is also processed as a snack. Some are processed into roasted corn and also boiled. If it's roasted corn, it's usually covered with melted butter on top and also a special chili sauce made from basil leaves. 2. Terang Bulan 

You can find this one in almost every area of Indonesia. This food is made from flour and has a sweet taste. There are several bright flavors of terang bulan, for example, cheese, chocolate, nuts, vanilla, as well as strawberries. You can choose the flavors according to taste. Terang Bulan is usually sold by carts and you can find it on almost every street corner in Bali. This food is only sold at night. The price of a portion of terang bulan ranges from IDR 25,000 to IDR 50,000. 

3. Laklak Pisang 

People use rice flour as the main ingredient to make this snack. There’s white laklak, and there’s also green laklak made of pandan or suji leaves. They usually use a sprinkling of grated coconut or brown sugar sauce as a topping. Many people say Laklak is similar to a pancake. However, some people also regard this food as Balinese crepe. You can easily find this food in traditional markets with the price ranges from IDR 10,000 to IDR 15,000. 


4. Rujak Kuah Pindang 

This one roadside snack has a refreshing taste. Because the basic ingredients of this food are fruits such as cucumbers, pineapple, young papaya, kedondong, young mangoes, yam, guava, apples, and salak. These fruits are thinly cut and eaten with a mixture of boiled fish sauce, brown sugar and shrimp paste. Rujak Kuah Pindang is suitable to be enjoyed during the daytime. You can try this food in several places in Denpasar. The price of a plate is around IDR 15,000.

5. Meatballs 

This food can also be found in other areas of Indonesia. The meatballs are served with noodles and gravy. The meat that is commonly used for meatballs is beef, chicken, or fish. However, because the Hindu-Balinese community refrains from consuming beef, so it has been replaced by pork. For Moslem tourists, chicken and fish meatballs are also provided. You can find this food on every street corner in Bali. The price starts from IDR 10,000. 


6. Mengguh Porridge 

Bubur Mengguh is a porridge doused with thick gravy with a sprinkling of shredded chicken and soybeans on top. As a complement, the sellers also sometimes add pieces of chicken eggs and vegetable ointment. This is the perfect food for breakfast. You can buy the porridge for IDR 15,000.
