This hill is located in Pesaban, Nongan Village, Rendang District, Karangasem Regency. Many tourists who stop by this hill after spending the trip from Besakih Temple. Bukit Jambul is located near a historic tourist attraction, Kertha Gosa. It’s only 7 km away via Jalan Raya Besakih. Bukit Jambul is easy to find because its location is on the main road from Karangasem to Pura Besakih.

In there, you can find many stalls with various types of merchandise and snacks to be enjoyed by visitors. Besides stalls, there is also a small restaurant that serves a delicious cup of Balinese coffee along with a plate of snacks. While enjoying the cool breeze blowing on your skin, it would be perfect if you’re accompanied by some good food and drinks, right? You can enjoy the agrarian atmosphere from the terraces of the local people. From a distance, you can see palm leaves dancing in the wind. Not far from Bukit Jambul, there’s also a salak garden that will beautify the green scenery.

It’s free to enter Bukit Jambul. But, you should pay for the parking fees of IDR 2,000 for motorcycles and IDR 5,000 for cars.

During the rainy season, farmers around Bukit Jambul will plant rice. Now, during the dry season, agricultural lands will get water from the subak system. With a well-coordinated irrigation system, various seasons of agricultural land will still be able to get crops.

Panorama activities in the agrarian area can also enrich your photo collection. Different planting phases and seasons can get different framing.
