Dedari, The Angelic Waterfall In Bali.

Dedari waterfall is located in the middle of a garden in Desa Taman of Bangli, Bali. This unspoiled paradise is rarely visited by tourists due to its hidden location. But today, there are guide signs along the road which make us easier to find this waterfall. After walking some distance, the beauty of nature and the fresh air will welcome you.


Dedari Waerfall

Dedari Waterfall has a total height about 20 meters. But, it looks a little bit short because the position of the waterfall is located on a slope of 75 degrees. The locals call this place “dedari” because it said that the waterfall was used by angels to take a bath. They believe that when you wash your face in this waterfall, you’ll look younger than your age.


Not only used as a tourism object, this waterfall is often used by the local community for agricultural irrigation, self cleansing ceremony, and also self purification ceremony. In there, you will also see a marvelous stone sculpture in the form of dedari or angel. The whole area of Dedari Waterfall is covered by the trees, river, and cliffs. Can you imagine the beauty of this place?. Yet from afar, the waterfall looks like a soundless clear water, that is surging over the cliffs. Once you enter this place, you will feel like you’re on your own world.


Situated in a secluded area makes this waterfall the perfect destination to run away from your busy days. You can take a trip by yourself, with family, friends, or loved ones. If you want to visit this beautiful waterfall, be sure to come at 8:00 AM – 05:00 PM.
