If you have a plan to go to Bangli, you should visit Dusung Kuning waterfall. You will see a hidden paradise, and also experience a challenging trekking path towards the waterfall. In addition, this waterfall has just been appointed by the Bangli Regency government as a new tourist attraction in the Bangli Regency.

Dusun Kuning Waterfall 

This hidden paradise is located in Dusun Kuning, Taman Bali Village, Bangli Regency. It is located in the middle of the forest and it takes about 40 minutes to get there if you drive from Bangli. And if you depart from Denpasar, you’ll take around 1.5 hours. So, it’d be better to bring snacks and drinks to accompany your trip.

Arriving at the location of the waterfall, you must park your vehicle and get ready for the trekking to the waterfall for 15 minutes. Along the way, you’ll be greeted by green trees, wildflowers, small waterfalls, and flowing rivers. If the sound of water splashing has been heard, it means you are almost at the waterfall. When you arrive, this 25-meter high waterfall is ready to welcome you. The water is clear and fresh, and a pool under a shallow waterfall can be a favorite bathing place. Around the location, there are many large stones. After tired of playing cold water, you can lie on one of the stone while drying your body under the sun. 

Local residents are very caring for the environment, so those wild animals that live around the waterfall are still allowed to live freely in nature. Therefore, you will see several forest monkeys hanging around, hanging from one tree to another. Because the waterfall is relatively new, so it has not been equipped with public facilities such as food stalls. So, you should bring your own lunch. 

It’s relatively easy to find the Dusun Kuning waterfall since there are many directions on the side of the road. Anyway, if you want to visit the waterfall, you’d better come around 10:00 WITA. You should go before it’s dark because this place isn’t yet equipped with lighting. In addition, don’t forget to wear comfortable shoes or sandals because you have to pass through slippery terrain.
