Pondok Edelweis is a new tourist attraction located in Karangasem Regency. This cottage is the result of the creative design of local residents. Yes, Karangasem was indeed blessed with a very charming natural landscape. Such as beautiful mountains and valleys overgrown with various plants. One of the valleys in Temukus Village is one example of the natural beauty of Karangasem. Because only in this valley can Edelweis plants flourish. Seeing this opportunity, the community finally turned this place into Pondok Edelweis.

As soon as you set foot in this garden, you can see a stretch of white Edelweis that gives the impression that the whole garden is covered in snow. Well, there are many instagramable spots for selfies that you can use. At least, there are five places that are often used as selfie spots. Namely, Expanse of Edelweis, Pondok Edelweis, Stage Edelweis, in front of White Valley Eternity jargon, and Edelweis Propellers. Your photos are certainly guaranteed to be interesting. Especially right behind this lodge, there is a magnificent panorama of Mount Agung. You can imagine how beautiful your photos with the foreground of Edelweis Flowers and Mount Agung as a background? Plus, the thin mist that sometimes covers the plantation location, making it seem as if you are abroad. 

The right time to visit is every month, except for the month where Galungan Day is held. Because Edelweis flowers are one of the flowers used by Hindus for offerings. So usually, Edelweis flowers will be picked and sold by residents. You can visit this Pondok Edelweis in Temukus Village, Rendang District, Karangasem Regency, East Bali. 

Apart from Edelweis Flowers, you will also find several other types of plants such as Kasna Flowers and Gemitir or Marigold Flowers. Don't forget to bring your best camera so that the photos can be satisfying.
