Do you know that there’s a world class painter in Bali? Yep, it’s a Spain-American artist called Don, who is married to a Balinese woman named Ni Ronji. He is famous for his works, and was admired by two of our presidents, Soekarno and Soeharto. His works are displayed in Ubud Blanco Museum. Certainly, this museum becomes one of the main tourist’s attraction in Bali.
In 1953, Don married Ni Ronji, a culture conservationist from Bali. His wife is the model of the paintings, which is today famous among the local and international tourists.
The atmosphere in this museum is shady and cozy, which creates a peaceful feeling. The taste from the welcome drink adds a relaxing ambience. The collection of many paintings in this museum will leave you speechless and amazed.
This museum also offers other facilities such as restaurant, art shop, toilet and relaxing room. Only for IDR 30,000 (Local Tourist) you can freely explore the area around the museum. Whereas, the international tourists have to pay for IDR 50,000 per person. This museum opens everyday, including holidays and weekends, from 9AM – 5PM.
