Enjoy The Peacefulness Of Taman Mumbul.

If you go to Bali, you’ll find a thousand of temples that signifies the whole entity of Bali. One of the temples we should visit and explore is Pura Tirta Taman Mumbul. Situated in Sangeh Village of Badung Regency. Taman Mumbul is a holy place that is sanctified by the local communities. It has a large pond like a lake. It is being used as a source of clean water for everyday life and also to irrigated the rice fields.

Mumbul Park To enter the park, there is no entrance fee. But though, they will charge you for parking fees: Rp 2000 for motorcycles and Rp 5000 for cars. The visitors can do a lot of fun activities at the temple. Such as feeding the fishes, cycling around the temple, and also raft riding in the pond of Tirta Taman Mumbul. You have to pay Rp 5.000 for two packs of fish food, Rp 5.000 per hour to rent a bicycle, and Rp 10.000 per person to ride a raft.

Taman Mumbul is divided into two parts: south and north. In the south, you can see Ulun Mumbul temple. The temple looks unique because of almost all parts of its surrounding are covered by the green grass. There’s also a fish pond in front of the temple, which makes this temple unique and beautiful. While in the north part of the park, there is a large pond as we mentioned earlier. Around the park, there are some tourist facilities, such as stalls or small café. These facilities are very comfortable for the visitors to enjoy their food while visiting Taman Mumbul.

Discovering Taman Mumbul as a spiritual tourist destination in Badung is a very smart idea. It is to protect and preserve the village assets, while also to bring economic benefits to the local communities. This place is always enlivened by the visitors especially on fortune days, such as Kajang Kliwon, Full Moon, Tilem and Banyupinaruh. If you’re interested in visiting Taman Mumbul, you can drive about 30 minutes from Denpasar, or 40 minutes from Kuta, Jimbaran, and Sanur.
