Having Some Relax Time In The Cool Nature Of Pengempu Waterfall.

You will find many waterfalls in Bali with beautiful green scenery. Usually, the waterfall is located a bit far from the main road. So, you need an extra effort to get there. However, your efforts will pay off when you reach the waterfall. Your eyes and mind will be refreshed by the beautiful scenery.

Pengempu Waterfall

Besides Buleleng, it seems that Tabanan also has another waterfall for you to explore during your vacations. It's called Pengempu Waterfall. It is located in Cau Belayu Village, Marga District, Tabanan Regency, or about 25 km from Denpasar. You only need to get through the path to the Sangeh Monkey Forest attraction. A few meters later, there is a T-junction, then turn left and just follow the directions to the waterfall parking location.

Arriving at the parking lot, prepare your energy for trekking to the waterfall. But don't worry, the terrain isn’t too difficult to pass even though you have to go into the wilderness. The trekking paths are only a hundred of steps. Well, for your personal safety, you should wear comfortable footwear with a shoe sole made of rubber. Because the steps are slippery, especially during the rainy season. Or, you can look for wooden sticks or sturdy tree branches to help you climb the stairs after playing in the waterfall.

Pengempu Waterfall has a height of around 20 meters. With this measure, it is clearly seen how amazing the water drops. Moreover, the water that falls into the pond is quite heavy and clear. Make anyone who sees can not help themselves to immediately swim and feel the fresh sensation of this waterfall. But for safety reasons, visitors are not allowed to swim directly under the splash of the waterfall. Don't worry, you can still play water in the Tukad Yeh Penyet River. The flowing water comes from Pengempu Waterfall too.

The flow of water in this river looks clear. So clear, you can see fish and small rocks that are at the bottom of the river. Tukad Yeh Penet is also often used as a place to do rafting activities. But only when the rainy season arrives. Because the river water flow is swifter than usual.

Pengempu Waterfall has been around for a long time. But because the name is not as famous as the Tegenungan Waterfall or the Kanto Lampo Waterfall, the waterfall is rather empty of visitors. This situation is quite fun for those of you who are tired of the frenetic atmosphere of the city. You can use the time to fully enjoy the serenity and natural atmosphere of the Pengempu Waterfall. Since there’s still not much visitors, the atmosphere around is still very natural. Decorated with wild plants and a variety of paku plants, make you more comfortable to relax in the waterfall.

Don't forget to bring snacks and drinks, because there are no food stalls around the waterfall. Remember to bring your trashes and keep the environment clean. So the beauty of our earth still can be enjoyed by the next generation.
