This beach is located in Adat Peminge Village, South Kuta District, Badung Regency, in front of Nikko Bali Hotel. If you’ve found Nusa Dua Bali Tourism Development Center (BTDC) area, then Geger Sawangan Beach is only about 3 km away. 

Sawangan Geger Beach offers a quiet atmosphere with charming views of Nusa Dua Beach. You can swim, sunbathe, even fish. Because it is in the Nusa Dua area, you won’t find rubbish scattered on the edge of the beach. It’s very clean. To get there, you need to take a shuttle from the car park. There is no official fee for the shuttle, only a box that’s provided for you to drop your money. 

The shuttle will take you exactly to the front of Geger Sawangan Beach. The visitors are not allowed to park around the beach. That’s why, shuttle is the best transportation for you to get there. Upon your arrival, you’ll be greeted by various kinds of souvenir shops. You can buy anything you need for your vacation, such as a hat, sunglasses, clothes, bags, shoes, and any other items. You can even bid the price to the seller. If you’re lucky, you can buy your items in a cheap price. 

After passing through the aisles of these shops, you’ll arrive in front of Geger Sawangan Beach. Along the way to the beach, you can go to the toilet first, or buy some food and drink before setting foot on the warm white sand. Uniquely, you can also rent a camel to ride or just to take pictures. You’ll feel like being in a desert when riding a camel. Then if you’re tired or hungry, you’ll find food stalls that open around the beach. You can also call a massage service from the local residents, and relax on the white sand of Geger Sawangan Beach.
