Originally the Pandawa Beach was known as secret beach, because its location was hidden behind a row of rock hills that were only overgrown with bushes. Approaching the coast, the limestone cliffs were perforated and carved with tongues as a place of sculpture of the Pandavas in the Mahabrata story.
