Pura Keraban Langit, A Holy Temple With Full Of Myths.

Keraban Langit Temple is located in Sading Village, Mengwi District, Badung Regency. The distance to this temple is around 24 km from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport.

Pura Kereban Langit is on the edge of a river bank and surrounded by rice fields. Inside the temple, there’s a sacred spring which is believed by the community to bring blessings. In addition, this temple is often used as a place for meditation. The Gods worshiped in this temple are Dewa Wisnu, Ratu Gede Lingsir, Ratu Ayu, and Ratu Made. In some holidays, such as Hari Raya Saraswati and Siwaratri, many people visit this temple to pray and meditate, to beg that their hopes and desires can be achieved. It is said that the water in the cave also brings blessings to a couple who want to have children.

The core temple of Kereban Langit is in a cave. When entering this core temple, you will feel peace, freshness, and coolness, because at the top of the cave there’s a gap. This gap makes the cave filled with fresh air and sunshine, hence anyone who prays or meditates will feel comfortable and full of magical aura. This temple is called Kereban Langit, derived from the word "Kerep" means roof and "Langit" means sky. If the words put together, it means "Temple of the Sky Roof".
