The Amazing Blue Sea At Tegal Wangi Beach.

In Bali, there are so many beaches you can visit. You can choose a famous beach with a lot of visitors, or an empty beach almost without visitors. If you want to relax and take a good rest, Tegal Wangi Beach, Jimbaran, will be the best place for you. Curious? Let’s check out our review!

Tegal Wangi Beach

Do you fall in love with a white-sanded beach? Then Tegal Wangi Beach could be one of your destination list! You will get unusual experiences and amazing views in this beach, unlike in any other beaches.

This beach is not widely known by foreign tourists and local tourists. So you won't find many visitors around here. Tegal Wangi Beach is situated under a cliff. So you have to pass the footpath and the edge of the cliff first to get to the beach. But bear in mind, the parking area isn’t very large. So if it’s full, you should park your vehicle on a vacant land near the cliff. There will be a parking guard that will direct you towards the cliff of Tegal Wangi Beach.

When you arrive at the parking lot, you have to walk along the path towards the beach. Be careful, the road isn’t paved. So it will be so slippery in the rainy season which makes it difficult for you to walk.

Your first destination is a wide field on the cliff. From there, you can see Tegal Wangi Beach from a height. The blue sea and the high sea waves will be clearly seen from here. You can also find some local people fishing. If you want to play with the cold sea water, you can go down directly to the beach. Always be careful, because the path is a bit slippery. While at the bottom, your feet will sense the warm white sand. Because the beach isn’t widely known by the tourists, Tegal Wangi Beach is also called Jimbaran Hidden Beach.

During your time at the beach, you’d better not swim nor surf, because the sea waves are quite big. It will be safer if you just relax on the coastline, watching the blue sea dancing under the warmth of sunrays. Also, many visitors use this place to take their pre-wedding photos. Even though you may not be able to surf or swim, you can play and soak yourself in one of the coral basins around the beach.

Anyway, there’s no electricity in this beach. So, don’t come to the beach after sunset, because it will be dark. You won’t see anything, besides, it’s very dangerous on your way back. The path you’ll pass won’t be too visible without a lamp. Moreover, this road is located on the edge of cliff. Scary, huh?

However, you can enjoy the beach freely when the sun is up. You’ll be satisfied by the blue sea with its calming sound of sea waves crashing against a rock. This natural rhythm will make you relax. Don’t forget to bring your favorite drinks and snacks to make your days more perfect!
