Located at the village of Penatahan, Penebel district, this hot spring contains sulfur, potassium, and sodium, which are effective to cure any skin or some other diseases. Also known as Yeh Panes, this place is a wonderful natural place to relax, surrounded by green forest and vegetation.

This place also has an interesting history. Once upon a time, there was a kingdom called “Penulisan”. At the time, King Jaya Wikrama was suffering from a serious skin disease. Then, the king was taken to a traditional healer, Ki Dukuh Tangkas, who gave his power by doing meditation. Due to his prayer, a hot spring out-poured from the ground. The King can be cured and built a temple to express his gratefulness. The temple is called We Brahma or Toya Anget Temple.

If you’re interested in visiting Penatahan Hot Spring, you have to spend around 1.5 hours from Denpasar or Kuta, and 30 minutes from Tabanan.
