Klungkung is the smallest district in Bali. Day 1

1. Kerta Gosa

Kerta Gosa, or also known as Gili Park Kerta Gosa, is a famous tourist destination in Klungkung Regency. This building is part of Klungkung Palace. Kerta Gosa has two main buildings: Bale Kerta Gosa and Bale Kambang. Explore these two buildings and get interesting stories from them. There, you can take many interesting photos, because Kerta Gosa is famous for its architecture that is very typical of Balinese culture. Visit in the morning to enjoy the fresh air in the Kerta Gosa neighborhood. This place is open from 08:00 WITA until 17:00 WITA. You can come to Jl. 2. Klungkung Palace

This place is still located in the same complex as Kerta Gosa, Klungkung Palace or better known as Puri Agung Semarapura. You can feel this palace as a silent witness from the history of East Bali. 3. Semarajaya Museum

This museum in the Klungkung Palace complex has a collection of interesting archeological objects. It is still related to items from the descendants of King Klungkung and handicraft objects that contain the typical history of Klungkung. There is also an exhibition of Songket weaving and Palm Toddy (palm wine) and extraction of palm sugar. 4. Puputan Monument

Not far from Klungkung Palace, you can just cross the highway. There is a Puputan Monument that you can go too. This monument is a symbol to commemorate 200 Balinese people from the Klungkung royal family who were killed. At that time there was a puputan war, the resistance of the Balinese people against the Dutch in 1908. You could walk for about 20 minutes on this monument. Day 2

1. Kusamba Beach

Kusamba Beach is one of the famous tourist attractions in Bali. Kusamba has an amazing view with the waves and surrounded by tropical Balinese air. When you are at Kusamba Beach, you can see Nusa Penida Island across the sea. Not only known for its beauty, Kusamba Beach is also popular with traditional salt fields. You can easily find local fishermen who carry out daily activities on this beach. Kusamba Beach is located on Jalan Kusanegara, Dawan, Klungkung. 15 minutes away from the center of Semarapura city.

2. Taman Sari Klungkung Temple

Taman Sari Temple is a Hindu temple located in Klungkung Regency. The atmosphere is very calm and serene. It is suitable if your goal is to go around the temple or find out about the history of the temple. Taman Sari Temple has 11 Meru. This shows that the temple was built for noble families. Taman Sari Klungkung Temple is located in Semarapura Kelod Kangin, Klungkung District, Klungkung Regency. You can spend around 40 minutes here to get around.

3. Goa Lawah Temple

After visiting Taman Sari Temple, now is the time for you to go to Goa Lawah Temple. This temple is quite unique because there is a large cave and is inhabited by thousands of bats. Day 3

1. Kamasan Tourism Village

You can enjoy the last day in Klungkung by visiting Kamasan Tourism Village. This place has an area of around 249 hectares with a population of around 3,400 people and is spread over four small villages. Kamasan Village is only 4 km from Semarapura City, which is the capital of Klungkung Regency. Kamasan Village is referred to as the mother of the Balinese Wayang Kulit painting. You can visit various painting galleries and family-run workshops. The oldest painting can be found on the ceiling of the Kerta Gosa building, you know. You can also witness the creation of contemporary artwork in various studios throughout the village. Don't forget to bring enough money. 2. Nyoman Gunarsa Museum

3. Cave of Japan

You can visit the Japanese Cave as your closing destination in Klungkung. This is the cave of the Japanese Government which was built in 1941-1942. The Japanese Cave consists of sixteen caves which are built next to the Tukad Bubuh River. Fourteen rooms are connected to each other. It has a length of about 14 meters with a width of about two meters. Gua Jepang is located on Jl Raya Banjarangkan, Banjarangkan, Klungkung Regency. To get there, you need an hour's drive from Denpasar. You can spend time in this cave about 1.5 hours to get around and enjoy the atmosphere.
