1. Gedong Kirtya Museum

You can see ancestral manuscripts written using Old Javanese, Balinese, and Sanskrit in this museum. These manuscripts are written in the form of a Lontar Library with many collections from inside and outside Bali. You can spend around 30 minutes – 1 hour in this museum. After you get a lot of new knowledge, you’re ready to play water at Gitgit Waterfall.

2. Gitgit Waterfall


This waterfall is a must-visit place because this is the highest waterfall in Bali. With a height of up to 48 meters and a fairly heavy water discharge, of course it can satisfy your desire to play water. Don't forget to bring lunch to eat after swimming. You can sit back and relaxed in the gazebo while enjoying your meals. Wear comfortable footwear, because you have to walk a few hundred meters from the parking lot to get to the waterfall. You can be at Gitgit Waterfall until late afternoon. On your way home, stop by for dinner at Seririt Night Market.

3. Seririt Night Market


You must be hungry after playing water. Well, Seririt Night Market is the answer! You can find a variety of typical halal Balinese culinary. Food prices are relatively cheap, so it’s suitable for backpackers. After that, let’s return to the inn to rest and get ready for the trip tomorrow.

Day 3

1. Lovina Beach

Certainly, you have to go to the famous black-sanded Lovina Beach while in Buleleng, because a group of dolphins will greet you from the middle of the sea. You can rent a djoekoeng (small boat) to see this beautiful marine mammal. You have to come to the beach at 5:30 pm, because the trip to the middle of the sea starts around 6:00 pm. Don't forget to bring your best camera to capture the moment! After playing with dolphins, go for breakfast near the beach. Then continue the journey to Singsing Waterfall.

2. Singsing Waterfall


You can immediately feel calm atmosphere when you arrive at Singsing Waterfall. This waterfall is suitable for children and adults to play water, because the water discharge is not too heavy, also the pool under the waterfall is not so deep. If you want to be more challenging, you can trek up to the second waterfall. The water is swifter and the depth of the pool reaches four meters. Brahma Vihara Arama, the largest temple in Bali. There is a miniature Borobudur Temple with a lotus pond which is usually used as a background photo of the favorite tourists. Day 4

1. Munduk Waterfall

Another interesting waterfall in Buleleng is Munduk Waterfall. This waterfall is flanked by high cliffs covered with thick green vines. From far away it appears that flowing water comes from lush leaves. Sulfur content in water is believed to cure skin diseases. Once satisfied to feel the fresh splash of the waterfall, don't forget to take a picture to preserve your vacation moments.

2. Ling Gwan Kiong Temple
